London Walk for Fun 2010
This year the London walk is being held in prestigious Hyde Park, London. In the 16th century King Henry VIII used to come hunting here! Luckily no hunting happens there today and it is a perfect place for our Walk for Fun. Stroll with us past the Serpentine and if the weather is nice, after the walk you could even go for a quick dip!
Here’s all the information that you need to know to take part in the walk:
Start time
- 10.30 am sharp and the walk will take about one hour to complete.

The start and end point will be the Bandstand, Hyde Park. The nearest park entrance is the Queen Elizabeth Gate/Hyde Park Corner.

Registering and fundraising
The entry fee for the Walk for Fun is £5 per participant, this covers our administration costs. Children 16 or under are free.
We need all participants to pre-register for the walk by paying their entry fee via our donate pages (please write 'Walk for Fun' in the event box). Alternatively you can send us a cheque made payable to Jo’s cervical cancer Trust.
Registration for the walk means that we are asking you to raise money for Jo's Trust. Please try and raise a minimum amount of £50.
Once you’ve registered we'll send you a fundraising pack.
To help you raise as much sponsorship as possible you might want to set up your own online fundraising page.
