Trusts and Foundations
Cervical cancer kills 3 women a day in the UK whilst every 3 hours a woman is diagnosed. Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK’s only charity dedicated to providing support and information services for people affected by cervical abnormalities and cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is the most common cancer in women under the age of 29 and the second most common cancer in women under 35.
We are grateful to the funding we receive from Trusts and Foundations, which helps us provide a range of support and information services to anyone affected by cervical abnormalities or cervical cancer. Our current services offer a range of online and face to face support, including: offering the opportunity for women living with cervical cancer to meet others informally, medical questions answered by our panel of 35 medical experts and a range of information materials.
Continued support from Trusts and Foundations will be ever more important as we look to respond to the feedback and needs of our user group by establishing a range of new services throughout the UK including: local support groups, a helpline, regional information days, working with BME groups and increased education and awareness programmes.
