Fontwell Park Racecourse raises funds for Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust

Fontwell Park Racecourse has chosen to raise funds for Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust on the night it opens its new Grandstand on 19th August. As well as the racing there will be a live band and a best dressed lady competition.

Beccy Green, Commercial Manager at Fontwell Park Racecourse said, “We are delighted to support Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust in this way. We expect very high numbers of attendees at the Ladies Evening and opening of our new Grandstand. We felt this would be a great opportunity to again support the charity and hopefully raise a lot of funds for their work.”

This is the second year in a row the charity has received support from the racecourse and Robert Music, director of Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust said, “I am very grateful for the continued backing of Fontwell Park. Not only will the evening raise vital funds but it will make many more people aware of the charity and the support we offer to those affected by cervical abnormalities and cervical cancer”.

Ends – August 2010
