The impact of cervical screening history review meetings on women with a diagnosis of cervical cancer

Dr Sue Sherman at Keele University, working with Mr Charles Redman at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, is planning a research programme investigating the impact of cervical screening history review meetings on women with a diagnosis of cervical cancer.

The team are keen to make sure that the research will be as useful and informative as possible and to this end, they are keen to get patient input on the proposed research, including feedback on draft questionnaires. They are going to hold a focus group meeting at Keele University (near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire) late November/early December and are looking for patients to come along and contribute their opinions. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and a £25 honorarium will also be paid as a thank you.

If you have been diagnosed with cervical cancer, have had a cervical screening history review meeting in the past 3 years, and would like to find out more about taking part in the focus group, please contact Dr Sue Sherman, email: s.m.sherman@psy.keele.ac.uk.
