Ask The Expert

Ask The Expert

Through our Ask The Expert Service, you can put your questions to a panel of qualified experts who have all kindly volunteered their time and expertise to help the Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust community.

Ask The Expert allows you to ask specific questions related to all aspects of cervical cancer. Once you have submitted your question online, it will be passed on to our volunteer medical panellists who have the expertise to answer your question. The service is completely confidential.

Before you submit your question to our medical panel, we encourage you to read through our frequently asked questions on cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. This could mean that you have your query answered immediately rather than having to wait for a response from our busy panel. It could put your mind at rest.

Since its launch in 2001, Ask The Expert has supported several thousand women from all over the UK. We aim to provide a response to your query within seven days. We ask you to check your junk mail if you have not heard from us within this time as unfortunately some mail servers may not recognise our email as a 'safe' sender.

Please note that this is a clarification service only and, as such, without the benefit of patient notes or medical examination, it is not possible for us to provide advice on your personal circumstance. Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust encourages you to seek appropriate professional medical advice or care for any situation or problem that you may have. This service is only available to UK residents.
