Let's Meet 2009 - London
The 6th Jo’s Trust Let’s Meet day was held on the 12th September 2009. The day included a Key Note presentation from Professor Alison Fiander on the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) as well as workshops that covered a range of topics. The day allowed time for attendees to meet each other, catch up with old friends and make new ones.
Let's Meet attendees describe their experiences about the day.

"This year’s Let’s Meet really showed how unique and special Jo’s Trust is – a day where we can meet other women who have dealt with the same issues as us face to face, as well as an opportunity listen to some great speakers.
I selected workshops on Radiation Damage, Cancer and Nutrition, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. All of which were extremely informative and helpful to me personally as well as the other girls I spoke to. I came out feeling very positive and inspired and it was wonderful to catch up with some fantastic girls who understand how I feel so well."

"This was my first experience of a 'Let's Meet' and I was so pleased I decided to go along. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I was very impressed with the content of the day also. The HPV presentation was extremely interesting and informative. I found it filled in all the gaps I had in my own knowledge about the virus and was incredibly well delivered. I was very pleased with the workshops I chose, in particular the fertility workshop. It was very informal and I was able to ask a number of questions that were very important to me to have a professional opinion on.
All in all I thoroughly enjoy the whole experience and look forward to many other 'Let's Meet' days to come. I personally had no experience of this disease before my own diagnosis and I really valued to sense of togetherness and solidarity the day gave me."
