hello ladies!

i'm super happy with this news today as I was in complete panic mode due to all the issues I've been having. They are all totally cause by chemo or rad. sometimes they go away and sometimes they stick around. My dr did mention that  1year post is when they see the most complaints related to the treatment. 

So.....

im still here one year later, a little wiser and a little more worn but there it is!!! 

Yeah!!!!

now if I could just get rid of this cold...lol

March 8/16: postpartum pap clear

May 10/16: abnormal looking cells while putting in mirena under GA biopsy taken

May 18/16: severe dyskaryosis CIN3

June 9/16 :lletz procedure under LA

June 20/16: results from lletz shows cancer,waiting for mri

July5/16:staged at 2b, no lymph node involvement 

July18/16:started chemo/rad

sept6/16:finished 5 chemo,25 external rad,5 extra boosts,4brachy

sept.... The waiting begins.

That's really great to hear Lolli! A nice landmark to celebrate too - once you get rid of that cold! (That said, the reduction in stress hormones from pre check up worrying, will probably hasten it's demise now.) Yay!

Nov 2016 - Stage 2b/3 with lymph node involvement (obturator & para-aortic nodes).

Dec 2016/ Jan 2017 - 28 Radiotherapy (Extended Field), 4 Cisplatin & 3 Brachytherapy. April 2017 - NED.

July 2018 - 18 mth MRI & PET-CT. Recurrence external iliac (pelvis) & peribronchial/precarinal (chest) lymph nodes. Restaged 4b.

Oct 2018/Feb 2019 - 6 Paclitaxel, Carboplatin & Bevacizumab.

April & Nov 2019, Feb 2020 - CT Thorax/Abdo/Pelvis. Chest, abdominal & pelvic lymph nodes & organs CLEAR! Pelvic side wall: minimal abnormal tissue, stable.

March to May 2017- 5 chemo and 25 radiation

Hi Lolli. I would never say " I told you so" as it applies to me too, but it's amazing how powerful the mind can be in convincing us something is wrong, when in fact it's just business as usual. I am so very happy for you and getting that year all clear is another major step towards the whole episode being behind you. Fantastic news!! Xxx hope the aches and pains go away now.

Nov - Chemo therapy  5 (cisplatin) and 25 radiotherapy

Sept 2015 - lymphodoema diagnosed

July 16 - Adenocarcinoma (Tumour 1b1, with one pelvic lymph node)

Sept 16 - 28 rads, 4 cisplatin chemos, 4 brachy

Nov 16 - finished treatment, with pre brachy scan NED

Feb 17 - post treatment PET showed suspicious hot spots on cervix

March 17 MRI - NED

July 17 check up - NED on exam, but MRI booked to be sure

August 17 MRI result - NED

June 19 MRI result - NED

March 2017 - Diagnosed CC stage 3B with lymph node 

June 2017 - Treament finished, 25 radiotheraphy, 5 chemo, 3 brachy.

Sep 2017 - 3 month scan cancer still there without change.

October 2017 - Became bladder incontinence.

January 2018 - Caner has gone!!

April 2018 - had urostomy surgery and gained a 'bag for life'

July 2018 - Cancer still gone!!  Began B12 and folic acid. 

March 2019, after a year of partial bowel obstructions my large bowel perforated resulting in emergency surgery and gaining a colostomy. Was on TPN for 6 weeks and now on a low fibre diet.

Lovely news.

1995 Abnormal smear Lletz procedure. No further treatment (Age 24)

2014 smears moved from annual to every 3 years.

04/17 Abnormal smear (Age 46)

05/17 Large loop excision

06/17 High grade invasive adenocarcinoma G2, deep margin with neuroendocrine component 

07/17 Laparoscopic Radical Hysterectomy, Sentinel Lymph nodes removed plus an additional two.

08/17 small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma confirmed.

4 rounds Carboplatin/ Etoposide chemo started 22/08

12/17 Clear MRI
