On 23 th of may ,2017 i completed my treatment. And today i received the result of my one year post treatment check up and everything is FINE :))))

It is really hard to wait for the results but now u am relieved :)))

February 2017-radical hysterectomy path report showed parametrium spread and a parametrium  lymph node, restaged to 2b

March to May 2017- 5 chemo and 25 radiation

It's such a relief isn't it! Congratulations. That one year scan is a real mile marker, I got myself into such a pickle with recurrence fears just before it, and now I finally feel that I can make some positive steps to getting on with a few things. Enjoy the feeling! x

Nov 2016 - Stage 2b/3 with lymph node involvement (obturator & para-aortic nodes).

Dec 2016/ Jan 2017 - 28 Radiotherapy (Extended Field), 4 Cisplatin & 3 Brachytherapy. April 2017 - NED.

July 2018 - 18 mth MRI & PET-CT. Recurrence external iliac (pelvis) & peribronchial/precarinal (chest) lymph nodes. Restaged 4b.

Oct 2018/Feb 2019 - 6 Paclitaxel, Carboplatin & Bevacizumab.

April & Nov 2019, Feb 2020 - CT Thorax/Abdo/Pelvis. Chest, abdominal & pelvic lymph nodes & organs CLEAR! Pelvic side wall: minimal abnormal tissue, stable.
