2 lletz, cancer gone but left with CIN1?

Hi, i have been having yearly smears since turning 25 due to hpv, this years smear sent me to colposcopt for a LLETZ which found cancer cells and precancerous cells in bourders. I was sent to an onocologist who sent me for the 2nd LLETZ under general anaesthetic because it was too difficult to do.
I got my results from the 2nd LLETZ today all cancer has gone (it was very early but i was never told what stage) but it says i have CIN 1 and need to go back in 6 months.
Im abit confused now because i thought it would be clear i dont think i can deal with going through this whole process again next year or even in a couple of years.
Has anyone been through similar? If so what happened with you?

I haven’t been through this so can’t comment on treatment. Just wanted to give you a virtual hug because the worry is the worst. It’s stressful and it’s there somewhere, even if we aren’t aware of it, so you don’t want this niggling at the back of your mind.

Could you ring your Dr and get them to explain? That might put your mind at rest. Xxx
