Bile acid malabsorption

Hi ladies,

its been a while since I’ve been active here.

I finished chemo rads in June 2018 and in remission.

Doing well, back at work on refuced hours, trying to enjoy life. I’m still shattered though, fatigue is a monster.

I have been diagnosed with a form of pelvic radiation disease called bile acid malabsorption and just looking to see if anyone else has this? I’m on meds now and been told a low fat diet will help, anyone have any other tips or advice?

I’m 3 years out of chemorads and I still have bile that backs up all the way to my throat everyday! It bugs me. So between that and the diarrhea it likes to give you it sucks! They just tell me to change my diet. Goodluck. If you find something that works let me know!

June 2016- pap, not up to date, results abnormal

Julyy 5th-  After followups diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma

July 12th 2016- Met with oncologist, clinically staged at 1b2, staging confirmed with MRI and PET. Tumor is endocervical and approx 7 cm.

August 2016- Started chemorads. Post followup after treatment, NED

Sept 2018- Still NED
