just wondering if anyone else has had radiotherapy & chemotherapy before a radical hysterectomy?
i was diagnosed January 2018 & had Cisplatin along with radiotherapy & Brachytherapy. In January this year I had para aortic lymph node involvement & went through another course of chemo/radiotherapy.
I developed cervical stenosis & my uterus kept filling with blood & fluid, which was drained but kept returning.
Drs decided to give me a hysterectomy despite previously not recommending it.
1 week after surgery I’m still getting a lot of pain - particularly sharp burning pain.
is this pain normal or ami experiencing more pain because of previous radiation to the pelvis?
Anyone else been in a similar position?
