Does early cancer have symptoms?

Im 5 days away from a biopsy and results. It's been a year..almost 2 without treatment bc I couldn't afford it.

Im afraid they'll tell me I have cancer.

I recently met a great guy and I'm afraid all of this will ruin everything. A cancer diagnoses will just stick a fork in everything.

I am sorry you are scared and are having these worries. I did not have any symptoms at all of my (what we believe to be) early stage cancer.

Best of luck wirh the biopsy!

My tumour got to 3.8cm in size before I had any noticeable symptoms.  It was a stage 2A1 - still very curable.

Not too long now before your biopsy, hope all goes well for you.

Did you having a Colposcopy?   All this waiting is awful for you, but you will be seen within weeks rather than months.

I hope you will get good news, but please I urge you to coninue to have smear tests, its very important  But icc can happen to anyone so all these tests, are all very important.  I hope your young man will stay with you and care for you cos believe me a cc diagnosis knocks wind out of your ‘sails.’  So is everything Ok or not so good?

I had my Colposcopy end of April, I was told the scans showed uterus lining  was thickened and cervix had abnormal cells, the Doc told me she thinks I have cc.  I’m over 60, so don’t really need my lady bits.  Today I had another appointment, the Doctor told me I had pre cancerous cells with a few cancer cells in uterus, so if nothing is done I will get full cancer which could spread.  I’m relieved but upset too, best thing to do is to have a full Hysterectomy.  Heck It was scary.  I signed the consent form.  The Surgeon came in room he told me he will cut my abdomen and take ovaries uterus tubes n cervix out, then Path Lab will have a good look at them.  I will get some meds to stop infections.  My Care Manager was with she said I will have to stay in bed for 3 months after op so things will heal up properly.

Good luck, I hope all goes well and you were not too shocked.

Pray hope don’t worry
