Im new and i dont think im really understanding

Hi everyone

Im sorry if this doesn't make sense im struggling to understand whats happening and i know im lucky of a early diagnoses.

So i started having some usual bleeding very light however i was fastracked through the system and pre cancerous cells were found at stage 3, and 1mm growth had appeared also.

The constultant performed the lettz procedure remove the pre cancerous cells and said this may remove the growth, further biopsies were taken, and i should hear this week of the results.

I not slept and my mind is doing overtime of what could be next.

Ive had to go through this alone due to the cov.19 but the nurses and constant have been brillant, but i dont think im processing the information correctly.

Sorry im just confused and wondering what is next, could the 1mm be bigger or spread.

Hi Isobelle,

I have just read your message and wanted to reply to you as I can see you are super anxious and haven't had a reply yet.

I think it's difficult to say what the growth could be as there are lots of non cancerous things that causes growths on the cervix.

I would suggest you call up the colposcopy clinic and ask for an nurse to explain what they think the 1mm growth could be.

I had something called a polyp which was non cancerous and there are other things called nabothian cysts and ectropion too both of which are normal and non cancerous usually.

I hope that helps
