Hi everyone,
Here at Jo’s we organise information and support events for those living with and after cervical cancer. These events are free for you to attend, and you're also very welcome to bring along a supportive friend, partner or family member. Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed, or had cervical cancer many years ago, this event is open to you - whatever stage you're at, or whatever treatment you have received.
For 2020 we are holding three information and support days. Two that we call Mini Meet, as they are half day events, and our long standing Let’s Meet (12/09/20). Our Mini Meets will be held in Newcastle on 14th March and Belfast on 2nd May. The event will be a mixture of sessions run by health care professionals as well as plenty of time for you to meet other women and their loved ones who have been affected by cervical cancer. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
Attendees can choose three workshops from the following list:
You can register for our events here:
Newcastle (14/03/20): https://www.jostrust.org.uk/get-support/events/mini-meet/newcastle
Belfast (02/05/20): https://www.jostrust.org.uk/get-support/events/mini-meet/belfast
If you have any questions about this event please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected], or call the office on 020 3096 8100.
I hope to see you at one of our events this year!
With my best wishes,
Anneka
It is with regret that in line with public health advice we have made the difficult decision to postpone Belfast Mini Meet on Saturday 2nd May. This event will be taking place in the future and we will keep you posted as soon as a new date has been set. If you have any questions, please contact us on [email protected]
Please remember that our other services are here to support you. If you would like to talk to someone we have a free helpline you can call on 0808 802 8000. Alternatively our confidential Ask The Expert service (https://www.jostrust.org.uk/get-support/ask-expert) is available where you can submit medical questions that will answered by one of our medical panellist who have the expertise to answer your question.
