Last year I had LLETZ to remove cin 1 and 2
I have just found out that the cin 2 were incompletely excised
I've since had a smear but as it was hpv negative they didn't check the cell sample
I am having some minor symptom, pain during sex and some spotting afterward and also heavier periods that last 2 months
I'm worried the cells have developed and frankly I'm annoyed I wasn't told this at the time
You get told it takes years for cells to change but I went from cin 1 to cin 2 in 11 months
my next smear isn't until 3 years time
has anyone had cells not excised completely ? Should I be worried?
any advise is much appreciated
I have no experience of this I'm just waiting for lletz for cin 2 but if you're having symptoms I would call your gp and explain your symptoms and what happened previously and request a referral back to colposcopy so they have have a look. Don't leave it. Good luck x
Just curious how did you find out your cells weren't completely removed? X
Hi
I agree with Chloes94 that you should get an appointment with your GP about your symptoms. Better sooner than later. Hope all goes well for you.
