Discharge....could it be?

ive had terrible discharge it looks like thrush but is negative for all swabs taken! It's not smelly but it burns and itches! Could it be cervical cancer? Did anyone suffer with the same?

The first symptom of my cervical cancer was a yellow.non-itchy, non-smelly watery discharge.  Quite a few other ladies on this forum who were diagnosed with cc following symptoms also mention a watery discharge - sometimes smelly and sometimes not,  maybe yellow, brownish or pinky brown.

The first test my GP did was a swab to check for infection and when it came back negative I made another appointment which I really think should be your next step.  I'm not an expert but things that spring to mind is firstly whether your itching and burning could be due to an allergy or sensitivity to something - it's best to use SLS-free non-perfumed body products, don't douche, don't use bubble bath or bath bombes etc and don't overwash the nether regions as all these things can upset the natural pH and normal bacterial flora of that area. Underwear made from natural fibres is preferable and don't use perfumed sanitary pads/liners.  Secondly could your symptoms be due to a urinary tract infection?  If  you are not to up date with your cervical screening then make an appointment now, but still also make an appointment to see your GP about your symptoms,

Hope all goes well for you.
