Is green discharge a symptom?

Hi all,

I had an abnormal smear last year and colposcopy showed cin 2 cells and hpv positive, the hospital decided to wait and see if they went by themselves and have another smear in a years time.
Recently I've had green tinged discharge, no bad odour and no pain, I was put on antibiotics in case it was an infection but I have finished the course and the green discharge is still there. I'm a bit worried this could be a symptom that the abnormal cells are still there and possibly gotten worse. Was this a symptom for anyone before being diagnosed?

I had a watery, yellow, non-itchy, fairly odour-free vaginal discharge leading up to my cervical cancer diagnosis.  Quite a few other ladies on this forum described their discharge as watery.  The discharge may or may not smell offensive.  As time went on my discharge became pinky brown and then I started to get vaginal bleeding.  Have you had any swab tests done and sent to the lab for culture?  Any chance you may have a STI?  You need to get an appointment with your GP for further investigations.

Hi, thanks for replying. I've been swabbed for STI's and all came back negative. The discharge isn't really watery, but waiting on a call back from the GP today.
