No Bleeding, lump and sore sex

Hi I'm new and don't know If posting in correct area.

Is bleeding always a symptom of cervical cancer,... Like do you " have " to have bleeding, can some ladies have cervical cancer without abnormal bleeding ?

I have an appointment with my GP but not for a fee weeks

I have found a pea size lump on my cervix in Jan and it's still there and a few tiny little bumps.

When I have sex that area hurts it burns/ stings when it's aggravated and hurts a little time afterwards too, most often than not we have to stop having sex as becomes to painful.

No abnormal bleeding infact I rarely bleed at all, I am on the pill and when i do have a period it's only ever been extremely light I'm very lucky in that sense.

Any ideas please? I thought a cysts but they don't hurt?

Thanks in advance

Hi Tilly5

You’re doing the right thing by going to the GP.

I didn’t have any symptoms before being diagnosed following my routine smear. I’d never even had an abnormal smear or HPV.

So it is possible to have CC without symptoms although mine was early stage and very curable so please don’t panic.

There may be other explanations so try not to worry too much until you’ve had it all checked out.
