At 21 I had CIN3 removed. Since then I’ve had yearly appointments as I have CIN1 (now 25).
At my appointment this year, they took a biopsy as usual and a smear. My results say I still have CIN1 however smear cake back negative and clear. However, I am confused by this are the smears not supposed to pick up there are cells that aren’t right?
Anyway, I have to go back to doctors in 6 months for a routine smear and take things from there. I am a little worried about potentially this meaning I will not have my yearly hospital appointments especially when CIN1 is still present.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
