Anxiety is ruining my life and Severely abnormal cells returned in 6 months.

In January I had my first smear at 25. The result was severely abnormal cells, I was offered a colposcopy and had the LLETZ treatment on the same day. 3 weeks later I was told I had CN1 CN2 And CN3 successfully removed from my cervix.

6 Months later I had a check up smear which came back with severely abnormal cells again. I am due to attend a colposcopy appointment on Monday next week. I know cervical cancer is extremely slow-growing and the likley-hood of it turning into cancer in 6 months is VERY VERY rare. But I cannot help but let my mind go wild with "what if's". I do not understand how they can tell me I was successfully treated and now it has returned just as severe as last time!

It seems they only give you a limited amount of info and it leaves you with 1000 unanswered questions.

I was originally very calm about it this time but everyone around me is freaking out, which has caused my anxiety to sky rocket and now I'm having several panic attacks a day! :(

I had severely abnormal cells that were removed in April with a cone treatment...I go for my follow up next month, I did ask my family doctor if it would turn into cancer in that time, and he said no not that fast. I hope this helps.
