Back to colposcopy 7 years after loop procedure.

hi ladies,

In 2014 I had my first smear at 24 and came back with severe dyscaryosis, had the loop procedure to remove cells, follow up smear 6 months later was normal and 3 years after, I've just had my results for my most recent smear, showing HPV positive and borderline changes so have to go back to colposcopy,  I know borderline is good I guess I just didnt think about the cells coming back, wonder if anyone has been through this? I know there is nothing I can do until the appointment and a lot of people are a lot worse off, just guess I was hoping some of you have been in the same boat. Thank you xxxxxxx

Heya, I had my cells come back abnormal only around 3 years after my first LLETZ procedure, so in almost the same boat.

I'm assuming I will have to have the LLETZ done again to remove the cells but I'll have to wait and see after my appointment this week. It is very stressful having to wait to see what the doctor will say at coloposcopy, I totally get it.
