Positive Story - CIN3 Severe Cell Changes

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to post as I know how hard it is reading all the stories on here where people find cancer or the abnormal cells aren't cleared and it's hard to be positive.

My smear test showed positive HPV & severe cell changes in November. I then had a colopscopy where the nurse said she could see it was severe so didn't need to do a biopsy. I had my lletz done within 4 weeks & it's now 6 weeks later post lletz..

I have just had my results to confirm it definitely was CIN3 but they've got it all so I just need to have a smear in 6 months to test and I am SO RELIEVED!

I am extremely lucky! It was my first smear test at 30 as I'd never bothered having it done but I will definitely be on time for every single test from now on!

Sending my wishes to everyone else who is waiting for their results or going through treatment at any stage

My results arrived the day before the 6 week mark, it was the longest wait! Hopefully you will be ok and either they are happy to just test at 6 months or maybe just one more lletz? Either way it's brilliant news there was no cancer found for us! Im also happy to be back to my body fully functioning again - just got off the spin bike
