My GP receptionist, I think mistakenly gave me my results and there are no GP to explain it to me until Friday.
I had an ultrasound as I’m having abnormal bleeding, I have HPV, but had a normal cervical smear.
From what I gather, these are the ‘bad’ things on my results.
I haven’t got to see my GP the receptionist gave me my result, can’t talk to GP till next week
Ultrasound performed
- uterus appears arcuate
- Endometrium contains heterogeneous areas and small cystic areas. No defined feeder vessels identifies (WHAT?!)
-?small endometrial polyps
-right ovary 19cc, left ovary 12cc, right ovary seen with a collapsed corpus luteal(again WHAT?!)
have any of you ever had any of these diagnosed and know what it means???
many thanks
Hi
I’m not a medic but your corpus luteam is the old follicle in your ovary that your egg has been released from,so I’d think nothing to worry about.
I hope you don’t worry too much, but I know from experience that you probably will anyway x

Thankyou so much for your reply Lotty, ❤️ I will try to stop worrying, I have a gynaecologist appt on 8th June feels so far away
That does sound like ages away (I know it’s only a couple of weeks but the waiting is torture!)
If they thought there was anything sinister going on I’m sure they would see you sooner. My LLETZ result was meant to be 3 weeks however there was adenocarcinoma and I had them in a week.
Good luck xxx

The consultant basically said that he wouldn’t see any of this as a massive issue if I wasn’t having unusual/irregular bleeding.
so I have had a hysteroscopy now and waiting for results
thanks for responses
