I think there is a serious problem when you send error messages accusing people of spamming and blocking messages when they are only trying to help others by attempting to attach links from THIS website!

I've been on here for years trying to offer support to others, in spite of not really getting any back. I think it's time I left.

I was blocked too. It was just a glitch.... nothing personal. I think the site was hit by spammers and they were trying to sort that out. Don't feel you have to go!

Hi 365days,

I am so sorry to hear you were blocked, do you remember when this was? We did have a persistent spam issue that hopefully has now been reovled but we weren't aware that other users were being blocked, I do apologise about that. Were you were unable to log in or were you unable to post?

Best wishes

Fran

It was probably about a month ago. I'm guessing it was because i tried to include a link. I just got kicked out of the site. I'm back now so no real drama!

Hi I also got blocked from posting a new post on the forun earlier, it did say something about spam but my post didn't have any attachments or anything. I did however click on the option to report it, logged out and back in again and then it let me post the exact same thing so all fine now :-).

Hi Samantha,

I am so pleased the issue resolved itself. If it happens again or continues to be a problem please do let me know.

Oh there was a little spate of this a couple of months back now? it seemed to be triggered by pasting anything in; so for instance, if somebody had placed the same question in several forums, it was easier to respond in one and then copy that response to the others. When you did something like that the site wanted to check you were a real human and all you had to do was to enter the five characters displayed at the bottom of the screen in wobbly writing. It was a lot less difficult than renting a car over the internet!

How do you post a question on the forum? I've been trying to post my intro and new diagnosis and it kept saying it was unpublished and then blocked me as I tried to get it to save and publish. Now I can't do anything.

Hi can someone help me in trying to put up a post and it says "unpublished Post" there's no attachments etc. Can someone help please?

Thanks

Hi Christina7,

As outlined in your joining email, the first two posts you make to our forum need to be approved by an administrator before publishing. This is in place to stop spammers posting on the forum and to protect users. I hope you understand.

Very best wishes,

Hi Meghan. I also have a post that doesn't show on the forums. First post. Do i need to post twice for you ladies to put it on the forum or is it a matter of waiting for someone to approve it.

Hi Maria

Yes, you're absolutely right. Unfortunately we were hit so badly by spam that we've had to change to actively moderating a new user's first 2 posts. My apologies, our moderators volunteer their time and this means that across the weekend, you may have to wait a little longer than normal to have your posts approved.

MAny thanks for your patience!

Best wishes

Rebecca
