INCOMPLETE/UNSUCCESSFUL LLETZ

Hi everyone
As the waiting continues I had a bit of good news yesterday MRI IS NORMAL ( :D ) but biopsy confirmed cin 3. :(
Docs secretary rang and read letter out she was typing to ME (bless her) and i was so relieved didn't ask anymore and now got app next Monday to discuss 'management'
Do any of you lovely ladies know what management means? I am assuming it is not lletz as they have tried twice now and they say its awkward to get at!
Best wishes to all and a big thankyou for helping me cope with this xx

:( Sorry this is being so hard for you. It's bad enough finding out you have CIN3 without the complication of it not being able to be treated with a LLETZ. I really can't say for sure what they would mean by management, but I can guess they mean they want to discuss other options with you, like maybe a cold knife conization or even a trachelectomy, but like I say, that's only guessing on my part. If you have CIN3, it needs to be removed somehow, to prevent the risk of it turning into cancer, which you most likely know already.

Whatever it is, you don't have long to find out now. I can totally understand why you would be worrying about this. All the waiting and not knowing is just terrible, but the really good news is that your MRI is clear and all that needs to be established now is how to get rid of that pesky CIN3, so that hopefully you can go on to lead a healthy and happy life.

Hang in there. You will get through this! *big hugz*

Hi Kay
Thanks for your reply.
All the research i have done suggests cone biopsy or hysterectomy too. I will deal with either- just want it to happen soon. How everyone copes on here is amazing. I thought i would go to pieces but i feel very calm but impatient at the moment.
Best of luck to all
