Stu gone for 4 months

Hi everyone,

Stu left for The Falklands 2 days ago, arrived safely if not a little wind swept and overdosed with baby aspirin for the 21 hour flight! Can't cope with a DVT as well as all of my problems.

Back to the hospital on Monday for the start of tests but i'm hopefull all will be just radiotherapy aftereffects and nothing sinister.

Love and hugs to you all, and a hello to new friends-I've been a little absent lately.

Love
Kayla

Hi Kayla,

I was just wondering how you got on on Monday....????? I was thinking of you. Hope all went well and that you get the results you're looking for i.e. CLEAR!!!! Let us know....

Kayla

Hello and thanks for your lovely messages.

I'll be having an EUA on 6th Dec. As was expected I have a thickened endometrium, but no fluid within the uterus. Im having a hysteroscopy and D&C and a cystoscopy to check the bladder trouble. Since the very long and extremely uncomfortable trans vaginal scan on Monday, i've now got a UTI, so am on antibiotics for that :(

I had a letter yesterday inviting me for an MRI on my spine next week, so it looks as though i'm getting checked from all angles which is good and very reassuring. I've had back trouble for a long time now - before my cancer diagnosis, but it's worse now so hence the MRI.

It's a year since my surgery so I'm hoping all these niggles wil be sorted and I can look forward to a healthier 2006.

p.s I'm going into hospital as a day case, does anyone know how rough I'll feel afterwards. Don't want to rush back to work either.

Hi Kayla,

I'm glad they're being so thorough, even tho it means you're on AB's for a while.

I've had at least 2 of those EUA's with D&C, hysteroscopy etc and apart from a bit of soreness right afterwards I didn't feel rough at all. Give yourself a few days or so off work tho cos sitting down sometimes can be uncomfortable for a bit! Let us know how it goes - the sooner it's all sorted out the better.

Lots of love, Marion xx
