Thank you ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hello everyone.

Thank you so much for your support today.
I had been very nervous about talking and been awake most of the previous night.

I was really impressed with the people that spoke today, there are so many points to cover, so many concerns for cancer patients and their families.

Maybe annually is not sufficient at the moment when so many changes are in the pipeline.

I am aware that very important issues, eg fertility where not covered today and as it was we ran out of time and staff at the grand where ushering us out as 5 o'clock snuck up on us.

I think that now there seams to be an impetous to talk and air important issues we should sieze the opportunity as ears appear to be listening.

I look forward to the details of the MP so that I can lobby them and put my concernc over.

And finally, thank you pamela for a brilliant day in a lovely venue.

Hope you all got home safely.

Good Bye all
julia

Hi Julia

It was great to meet everyone. Brighton is also such an uplifting place to be.

Well done on your talk - it was so powerful. You have been through so much and are so brave.

I think too that we should try and meet more often. Maybe some informal local groups. One in the london region - I am only saying that as this is where I live........ sometime in the spring. It is empowering to talk to other people who now exactly how you feel.

It was good that the health professionals were there to to hear the messages first hand.

Also pleased that many of the issues raised by those who like me are in recovery but feel that now is the time that I need more emotional support.

Thanks to Pamela for organising it.

Best wishes

Caroline

Hi - well hi to caro and londoners/southerners really.
I couldn't make it to Brighton, but would love to do informal local get togethers as you suggest. Have never been to a 'Let's Meet' and don't like the idea of waiting for another year till the next one.
Would anyone else be up for a local Jo's meet in the London area in the New Year?
