Upset after my EUA

Hi everyone,

Had my cystoscopy, hysteroscopy and look around yesterday. The news is somewhat worrying.

My bladder, uterus and cervix look good with no abnormalities. However, I have an area of concern to the right of my cervix. A biopsy has been taken of this area, but my consultant does not like the look of it. He phoned me today to say he cannot say whether it is a tumour or necrotic tissue. I've been thrown into turmoil to say the least. I now have to wait for the results. Not to mention that Stu is thousands of miles away at the other side of the world.

Even if the results come back as benign, my consultant wants me to go back again for another biopsy-a bigger one- to make sure, as he found the area of concern to be very unusual, due to location.

My concerns with the bladder and discharge now seem quite pathetic as now I could be facing recurrance.

I'm sorry I've been very distant lately, but please know you are never away from my thoughts.

Love
Kayla

Hi Kayla
Sorry to hear your news, what a blow, especially when Stu is away. I am keeping you in my thoughts and hoping the results will reveal nothing sinister. Horrible to be thrown back into the waiting game, whatever the end result is.
Please don't apologise for being 'distant'. You are one of the mainstays of this board, a constant presence, and have offered support to so many people yourself.
I hope you can get through without worrying too much. When do you get the results?
Take care

I'm so sorry to hear your news - I have everything crossed for you that the results from the path. lab. will show nothing sinister. I'm sure you will get the results asap and 'worry time' will be kept to a minimum.

Pm me if I can help in any way, specially with Stu being so far away. We're all here for you.

Lots of love,
Marion xx

Hi Kayla
Thinking of you. These tests and then the wait are just agonising.
Try and stay calm. Your consultant sounds like he is being very cautious.
Hopefully it will be nothing to worry about and they will get back to you asap.
best wishes

Hi Kayla
so sorry that you did not get better news from the hospital. How long will you have to wait for the results? You are such a strong person but it must be so much harder without Stu being there. Are the children home for Christmas from school yet. thinking of you Kayla and know your going to get through this set back.
much love
