Together #WeCan work towards a day where cervical cancer is a thing of the past. Watch our hero film from our last Cervical Cancer Prevention Week. It was one of our biggest campaigns ever.
But there is still more to do…
Did you know Sweden is likely to eliminate cervical cancer before 2030, with Australia not far behind them? NHS England has pledged to eliminate cervical cancer by 2040, but we want to reach this target even sooner, and we want to make sure there is the support and resources to make this happen.
HPV vaccinations, cervical screening, and treatment for cell changes can all help prevent cervical cancer, and we want to programmes to be as effective and accessible as possible. We're calling for the Government to commit to eliminating cervical cancer, and to commit to providing the investment and resourcing needed for all the services that help to prevent cervical cancer. Together, #WeCan end cervical cancer.
Don't forget when posting, to use the hashtags #WeCan and #CervicalCancerPreventionWeek and to tag us.
Did you know that 1 in 3 women and people with a cervix do not take up their screening invite? Share the facts about cervical screening with your friends and family, encourage them to attend their appointment, and use our support services and resources if they have questions or concerns.
Want to set up a partnership or fundraising event for Cervical Cancer Prevention Week? The money you raise will help us reach more people through our outreach and campaigns. We also don't want anyone to face a diagnosis alone. Fundraise so #WeCan end cervical cancer.
Email our fundraising team today about how to set up an event or fundraise for Jo’s > [email protected]
Not able to access our resources? Got questions about the campaign? Want to get more involved?

9 women a day are diagnosed with cervical cancer in the UK, and 2 women a day lose their lives to this disease. In 2020, The World Health Organization launched a global call for action to eliminate cervical cancer. Countries round the world have developed strategies and targets to eliminate cervical cancer, and we want the UK to do the same. Check out our latest report which calls for action to end cervical cancer in the UK, and highlights some of the challenges and opportunities on the path to achieving this.
