Bus campaignWe’re excited to reveal that for a second time we are running an advertising campaign across four major areas of England. We are using adverts on the side of buses to encourage women to attend their cervical screening test (smear test) and to mark Cervical Screening Awareness Week (CSAW), 15 – 21 June.

The areas have been chosen as either major cities where cervical screening uptake is below the national average or where screening has fallen for a second year in a row. Our buses will be on the road from 8 June to 5 July 2015 and you’ll be able to spot them for four weeks in Leeds, Manchester, Bristol and Hampshire.

Cervical screening saves 5,000 lives every year in the UK and we’re hoping that these adverts will help us to reach women who have missed or delayed attending their cervical screening.

The campaign has been funded by healthcare provider Simplyhealth
