Cervical Screening Awareness Week: 15 - 21 June 2020

Cervical screening (a smear test) is the best protection against cervical cancer. It detects cell changes which, if untreated, could go on to develop into cancer. 220,000 women have an abnormal cervical screening result every year, but treatment is highly effective.

We released new research that looks at the experiences of women diagnosed with cell changes. While many women who have treatment will have a straightforward and positive experience we've found that this is not the case for all women.
