Roche has been working with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust since 2011 and over that time has raised and donated over £60,000.
Roche has supported and worked with us in a number of ways, including:
- Providing funding towards three case study videos on survivorship, menopause and HRT, and partners
- Connecting the charity with health professionals
- Funding research around public awareness; understanding and barriers to cervical screening attendance
- Funding costs of meetings at parliaments in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales
- Contributing towards the costs of our five UK city cervical screening bus campaign
- Distributing materials to health professionals
- Raising funds and attending our annual Walk for Fun event.
Gary Robjent, Public Affairs Manager at Roche Diagnostics said, “the partnership with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust provides Roche Diagnostics Ltd. with the patient perspective of the cervical screening process and insight into the needs of women, their families, and healthcare professionals, so that Roche can develop and orientate its activities accordingly.
“The independent, professional and passionate approach that Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust takes, sets it apart from many voluntary and commercial organisations; Roche Diagnostics values every opportunity to work with the team at Jo’s.”
