Information for Gynae-Oncology Nurse Specialists and Gynae-Oncologists

As a GCNS or Gynae-Oncologist you provide invaluable support and information to women with cervical cancer. As the UK’s only charity supporting women with cervical cancer we are able to act as a unique tool for you to back up the highly specialised care you already provide.

By signposting the women in your care to our free servicesinformation materials, and free patient information day they receive a wider network of support, manned by trained volunteers and reliable information, certified by the Information Standard and reviewed by medical experts. You receive an additional free service that will provide holistic, patient-centred and personalised care.

Tracie’s Story
Tracie Miles is a Gynae Cancer Nurse Specialist Royal United Hospital Bath. She talks about how she has been involved with Jo’s in several different capacities over the years, what she thinks we have to offer her patients and when she refers her patients to us.

“Most importantly I tell each and every single one of my patients about Jo’s. Every woman coming through my office gets a card with the charity’s name on it and I tell them that’s where they can find support and information next to me and their medical team. As much as I’d like to believe that I can do everything for them I can’t, it’s not possible.”
