Hours: Full time (12 month fixed term contract)
Location: Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust Office, Old Street, London
Salary: £35–38k dependent on experience

We’re looking for an experienced communications and media relations professional to manage our communications team on a twelve month fixed term contract. The purpose of the job will be to oversee the communications team and the development and implementation of Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust’s communications strategy which includes the charity’s digital offering (website and social media). This exciting role is varied and includes all areas of communications including PR, advertising, marketing, digital and assisting the chief executive on public affairs activity.

You will implement an existing annual communications plan as well as oversee the day to day running of the proactive and reactive press office. You will also manage the charity’s website and contribute to public affairs activity. This role requires you to be part of the senior management team inputting into the running of the charity and its wider strategic aims.

You will have extensive experience of working with the media, running communications campaigns and a deep understanding of social media. You will have some digital knowledge as well as experience managing a team. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to juggle multiple tasks as well as possess excellent written, verbal and organisational skills.
