Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust was elected as Cohn and Wolfe’s charity partner in 2012-13.

The global PR agency based in London offered a mix of fundraising and PR support for the charity. Through the year the agency staff took part in fundraising events such as the Santa Run as well as provided consultancy to become an extension of the charity’s small communications department.

During Cervical Cancer Prevention Week, January 2013, the Cohn and Wolfe team lead on a celebrity and media engagement event. The ‘Girls’ Night Out’ party helped to garner relationships with both influential female celebrities such as Embarrassing Bodies’ Dr Dawn Harper and relationship expert Tracey Cox, as well as generate news stories around cervical cancer awareness.

Overall the partnership bolstered the charity’s monthly press office activity enabling us to engage with more influencers across several platforms, growing the reach of the brand and cervical cancer awareness.
