Transylvania conjures up images of haunted castles and vampires, in fact some people assume it is the invention of Bram Stoker. However the ‘land beyond the forest’ as the Latin name translates is located in the heart of Romania. Join this cycle challenge and discover the real Transylvania, a medieval landscape of rolling hills, lush meadows, oak forests and Saxon towns surrounded by the spectacular Carpathian Mountains. It’s an area rich in history and culture boasting over 100 castles and fortresses including the mystical Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle. Saddle up for a fascinating challenge through deepest Transylvania.

How To Take Part

To sign up for this challenge you will need to pay a registration fee and pick from one of the follow two payment options:

Option 1 (Minimum Sponsorship) – You pay a £175 registration fee and agree to raise the £1750 sponsorship.

Option 2 (Own Place) – You pay a £175 registration fee, plus pay the £872 tour cost yourself. You will be invoiced for the remaining £872 tour cost approx. 10 weeks prior to departure.
