Join Jo's Voices

Unfortunately, we are not currently recruiting for new Jo's Voices volunteers. We will hopefully be reopening applications in late 2023  watch this space!

Why are Jo's Voices important?

Our Jo’s Voices are a dedicated group of people who use their lived experience of cervical screening, cell changes (abnormal cells) and cervical cancer to shape our projects. Whether they are commenting on our health information, support services or campaigns, Jo’s Voices make sure everything we do is as relevant and engaging as possible.

What would I do?

As a member of Jo's Voices, we offer you the opportunity to:

  • Have your say on our health information, support services and other projects via online surveys.
  • Represent the views of those affected by cell changes and cervical cancer, as well as those of cervical screening and HPV vaccine age, to help improve our work and support others.
  • Become part of the Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust volunteer family.

How we support you

As a member of Jo’s Voices, you have access to a dedicated page on our site with details of all the projects that you can get involved in. We also offer quarterly feedback, explaining how your comments have influenced our decisions.

You will also have the opportunity to complete an annual short survey to reflect on what you’ve done and to let us know if there are any ways we can improve your volunteering experience.

If needed, we will also provide a reference about your time in the role.
