Our Be Cervix Savvy Roadshow

Be Cervix Savvy is the name of our first ever national Roadshow running over 14 weeks, visiting cities across the UK.

Starting in Glasgow and finishing in London, our Roadshow unit will be visiting local high streets, retail parks and community events to reach out to women in areas where the cervical screening attendance is low.

You can download our Roadshow poster here.

What can you do to be cervix savvy?

• Know what cervical screening is, what to expect at the test and the role of it in preventing cervical cancer

• Learn about cervical cancer and how to spot the symptoms

• Find out who can have the HPV vaccine and why

Our trained Roadshow volunteers will be available from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm four days a week at the below places.

Our design

Our Roadshow unit will look like the below and our team of volunteers will be wearing our Jo's t-shirts and jumpers, so if you spot us, come and say hello!

How can you get involved?

You can help us raise awareness of cervical cancer in your local area by:

• Volunteering at the Roadshow
• Order information materials or our Roadshow poster and help raise awareness at your workplace or within your community

• Hold your own information event with your friends, family and community

Nearer the time we will be updating our location list with specific destinations of where the Roadshow will be parked up. Want to keep up to date with Jo’s and the Roadshow: sign up to our e-newsletter for updates on our work and more about the Roadshow.
