Our Be Cervix Savvy Roadshow
Be Cervix Savvy is the name of our first ever national Roadshow which ran over 16 weeks, visiting 16 cities across the UK.
We started in Glasgow and finished in Knowsley, visiting local high streets, retail parks and community events to reach out to women in areas where the cervical screening attendance is low.
What can you do to be cervix savvy?
• Know what cervical screening is, what to expect at the test and the role of it in preventing cervical cancer
• Find out who can have the HPV vaccine and why
Our Roadshow unit is below and our team of volunteers will be wearing our Jo's t-shirts and jumpers, so if you spot us, come and say hello!
How can you get involved?
You can help us raise awareness of cervical cancer in your local area by:
• Hold your own information event with your friends, family and community
Keep up to date with Jo’s and the Roadshow: sign up to our e-newsletter for updates on our work and more about the Roadshow.
Are you a health care professional?
We would love it if you could help us to talk about cervical cancer prevention at your workplace and with your patients when we visit your area. Please do get in touch so we can help support you to do this on [email protected] or call us on 020 3096 8100.
Have you seen us on the road?
We’d love to hear from you if you’ve visited our Roadshow or seen our bus on the go.
