What is Ask the Expert?

Ask the Expert is for anyone with questions or concerns about; 

Questions submitted through our online form are anonymised (any identifying details will be removed) and sent to an appropriate member of our medical panel.

You will receive an initial email confirming receipt of your query (do check your junk mail in case you don’t see it) and get an email response to your query within seven days (this may take longer during busy periods).

Due to legal reasons this service is only available to UK residents. If you are outside the UK we will not be able to process your query.

Who are the experts?

Our medical panel are all qualified medical professionals including GPs, Nurse Colposcopists, Gynaecologists and Gynaecological Oncologists. All of our experts kindly volunteer their time and expertise.

Sometimes questions will be answered by member of the Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust team, for example if it relates to policy. We will always inform you when this is the case.

Simply fill out the form below. Please be as clear as possible and give as much information as you can to help the panellist provide the best answer for you.

If you are concerned about your own health please do seek appropriate professional medical advice or care. As we do not have access to patient notes or medical examination it is not possible for us to provide advice on your personal circumstance.
