Thank you for becoming part of our user-led reviewer group, Jo’s Voices. We value your opinions and need your feedback to help shape our work.
This is the page that will tell you about different projects and surveys that you can get involved in. It’s usually updated at the same time as your newsletter is sent out.
Project 1. Research: Opportunity for those who have had HPV.
Cochrane Network are looking for 3 people with lived experience of HPV to join their Independant Advisory Group (IAG), to review data on the harms and benefits of HPV vaccination. If you’d like to be involved, please email [email protected] by Friday 17th September.
Project 2. Public Health Scotland.
We are supporting Public Health Scotland to update their information on cervical screening. We are looking for anyone who’s interested in reviewing the materials and offer feedback over an 8 to 12 week period. The first task is happening now and is asking for feedback by Tuesday 7th September. If you’d like to be involved, please email [email protected].
Project 3. Clinical trial opportunity.
Recruitment has opened in the UK for the HPV001 clinical trial involving women with low grade HPV related cervical lesions. Visit our research page or the ct.gov trial page for more information.
Project 4. Cervical Cancer Prevention Week (CCPW).
During CCPW in January we will be talking about our cell changes research as well as how people can reduce their risk of the disease and educate others. If you are interested in helping our comms team with messaging around the campaign, please email [email protected]
Project 5. Colposcopy/ Cervical cell changes.
Our cell changes survey closed last month, with over 1,100 responses. We are currently analysing the data we’ve collected, with the view to start focus groups for this project in October.
Thank you in advance for your help. We couldn’t produce the content we do without it!
Warm wishes,
Imogen and the rest of the Jo’s Team
