The gift of a lifetime

Wills may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about giving money to charity. Your Will might not be something you discuss at all. However, remembering Jo’s in your Will can help you leave a potentially lifesaving legacy.
All of the work we have done over the last 20 years has only been possible through the generous donations, grants and gifts in Wills that we have received. We have been able to keep our services free, expanded our reach and been there for more women and their loved ones in their time of need.
Our vision is eliminating cervical cancer. We are working extremely hard to get there while supporting everyone who needs us along the way. Donations in Wills are an incredibly generous and effective way of supporting our work and mean you can be part of a future without cervical cancer.
Why choose to leave a gift in your Will?
- They are free and simple to set up
- They are non-binding
- They offer an alternative way to support our work
- Put simply, it means that we can continue our work well into the future.
Every gift however big or small, even 1% of your Will, has the potential to reduce the impact of cervical cancer on generations to come. Charlotte chose to support us after losing her mum to cervical cancer:
“When Mum was diagnosed with cervical cancer she felt lost, scared and alone. She needed a place where she could talk openly about her feelings and get the information that she needed to make important decisions. She was lucky to find Jo’s and took a lot from the support offered.’’
‘’Jo’s was there for Mum in her time of need and I won’t forget how much that meant to our family. For us, donating helps keep the memory of our beautiful Mum alive. We live in hope that, one day, cervical cancer will be eliminated and no one else has to go through losing their mum or a loved one to this awful disease.’’
“I want to make sure that Jo’s can continue to campaign, raise awareness and save lives. It is incredibly important to our family that Jo’s can grow and support the women who need it.”
Did you know that this year alone, we have brought together almost 100,000 people on our online Forum? Some of these relationships last a lifetime and can be the lifeline that gets someone through an incredibly difficult time.
Since Jo’s was launched 20 years ago we have achieved so much but we have ambitious plans and know we have a long way to go. By leaving a gift in your Will you can help us to get closer to a future where cervical cancer is no more.
