Support Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust by becoming a corporate partner

Developing a corporate partnership with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust can have a number of benefits. We are the UK’s only dedicated cervical cancer charity with a strong and credible brand. You can gain access to new audiences and demonstrate corporate social responsibility. You will also be able to inspire and motivate your employees and have a positive impact on their and your customers’ health.

We work hard to understand the needs of potential partners to ensure we develop projects that will reach their objectives. Working this way ensures mutually beneficial outcomes, satisfied supporters and longer-term, sustainable corporate partnerships.

We will tailor the benefits to meet your company’s objectives and strategy. These may include:

  • Enhanced brand image and positive PR
  • A unique selling point over competitors
  • Improved staff morale and development
  • A public association with a cause that affects your staff and customers
  • Providing marketing-led solutions
  • An opportunity to show good corporate citizenship in action.

We’ve already worked successfully with companies such as Ashfords Solicitors, Look Magazine, New Look, GlaxoSmithKline, Virgin Media and Sainsbury’s.

Sponsorship

There are a range of sponsorship opportunities available. Sponsors benefit from the association with a respected and trusted brand as well as very positive exposure to key audiences. Sponsorship opportunities include:

Publications

Sponsor the production of our publications which include a range of information packs and materials containing information about cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities.

Projects

Support Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust in developing education awareness programmes and working with hard-to-reach communities.

Events

Sponsor one of our annual events such as the Let’s Meet conference attended by women affected by cervical cancer and health professionals or Walk for Fun which takes place in venues around the country during the charity’s nationwide Cervical Screening Awareness Week.

Donate

You could support us through a giving a donation in one of the following ways:

  • making a charitable donation
  • helping us with services, such as printing or training
  • offering a secondment scheme for your staff

Employee fundraising

Involving your employees can help motivation and assist in staff development, health education and team building.

Payroll giving

Encourage your staff to set up a regular payment through their salary to Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust. Payroll giving is one of the easiest ways to donate.

Through payroll giving, employees can donate tax free. Employers take the deduction from the pay each month before PAYE tax, giving the donor tax relief. So a donation of £5 to Jo’s cervical cancer Trust only costs your employee £4 if they pay the basic rate of tax and just £3 if they are a higher rate tax payer.

If your company does not offer Payroll Giving it can register with an HMRC approved Payroll Giving Agency (PGA) such as:
South West Charitable Giving (SWCG)
Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)
Charities Trust

They will explain the simple process from setting it up to implementing payroll giving in the workplace. Once you have registered with a PGA, employees can complete a payroll giving/pledge form and had it back to your HR or payroll department who will deduct the donation from the employees’ pre-tax salary.
